Director, Product Marketing Bullhorn
The Director of Product Marketing will lead Bullhorn?s marketing efforts to support and enable the sales team to achieve bookings targets, to introduce new product offerings and product updates, to deliver timely and relevant competitive information to improve win rates, and to develop a strategic product marketing strategy for continued market leadership. This person will lead a team of product marketing professionals responsible for managing a multiproduct portfolio, for developing growth strategies in new and existing markets and for collaborating effectively across functions, including sales, service and product management. The role reports to the Chief Marketing Officer.
Responsible for leading the development and implementation of product marketing strategies and programs including:
Sales support and enablement
Product positioning, packaging and pricing
Strategic marketing, including market research and roadmap development
Drive Bullhorn?s field marketing and lead Sales, Customer Services and Professional Services in the effective external communication of Bullhorn?s product innovations
Lead the strategic analysis of the competitive landscape and develop countermoves and strategies to beat competition and increase market share:
Conduct market, customer and competitive research, detail product requirements, define, prioritize, resolve, monitor and manage internal and external relationships to achieve product and company objectives.
Develop effective strategies and tactics to up-sell and cross-sell existing customers on new products and services.
Collaborate with sales and engineering in the development of product roadmap and market strategy to maximize revenue opportunities.
Develop and manage business plan and launch plans in support of new major product releases, ensuring that Bullhorn further establishes it?s stronghold on the Staffing and Recruiting Software market.
Collaborate with Bullhorn Product Management in leading all of Bullhorn?s product and services launch activities from inception through the entire product and services lifecycle
Key Qualifications and Experience:
10+ years product marketing leadership experience in a structured, well-defined software company with strong analytical and technical skills
Must have a strong understanding of product development lifecycle and go-to-market strategies and programs
Must have demonstrated a strong capacity for leadership and mentoring
Must have excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Product Marketing leadership experience in a Software as a Service (SaaS) firm preferred
Must have a proven track record in growing organizations and working within a cross-functional environment to drive business results
Must possess a blend of business and technical savvy and a passion for software and technology products
Must have the ability to interface with technical resources and upper management both internally and externally
Must possess strong attention to detail and ability to execute on shifting priorities
Demonstrated experience taking software products to market and growing the product revenue year over year
Must have strong interpersonal skills to interact with customers, analysts and business partners
Demonstrated experience working with a cross functional team of Sales, Services, Engineering, and Marketing
