Who are we looking for?
Lithium is seeking a Product Marketing all-star with strong technical skills and a passion for beating the competition. Reporting into the VP of Product Marketing, you will lead our competitive programs, grow our developer community, and lead technical product marketing for the Lithium Social Customer Experience platform.
This is a high visibility position at Lithium. We?re looking for someone with outstanding ability to position effectively against the competition, support the field in competitive battles, and inspire confidence in technical buyers and developers. Exceptional writing, PowerPoint, presentation, demonstration, and sales support skills are a must. Former experience as a sales engineer, product manager, or developer is required.

What You?ll Do
Responsibilities
Competition ? lead programs to increase our win rates and market share by researching top competitors, developing effective positioning, and participating in sales cycles
Developers ? grow the Lithium developer ecosystem by working closely with customers and partners building innovative integrations and solutions with Lithium products
Community - Actively engage developers in the Lithium developer community and lead marketing for the developer track at our annual conference
Product Positioning ? create compelling messaging that highlights Lithium capabilities and advantages to technical decision makers and developers
Sales Enablement ? create sales presentations, technical white papers, and competitor battlecards and deliver regular updates on the competition to sales and executives
Partner Enablement ? work closely with Business Development leads to grow channel sales
Product Strategy ? provide competitive and developer insights to the product team to inform roadmap planning
Requirements
8+ years experience in enterprise B2B software
Proven track record as a sales engineer, product manager, or developer
Superior communication and persuasion skills - written, oral, and PowerPoint
Outstanding technical knowledge ? must be able to engage developers and technical decision makers with credibility
Proven ability to analyze and out-position the competition with effective business and technical arguments
Energetic with strong ability to perform in high-profile scenarios, particularly with customers, partners, and executive management
Proven ability to create sales tools and competitive programs that increase win rates and accelerate sales cycles
Action-oriented with great follow through on commitments
Bachelor?s degree
Based in Emeryville, CA. Some travel required.
