Director, Product Marketing Kapow Technologies
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Kapow Software is looking for a smart, creative, strategic Product Marketing Director to manage highly innovative, disruptive B2B enterprise software products and solutions.
We?re looking for a strong blend of technical understanding and strategic marketing to adeptly position, message, and drive new business with a keen focus on solving IT and line of business issues without getting bogged in product features and functions.
In order to be successful in this role you have marketing in your DNA, have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, an instinct for revenue generation, a strategic mindset, and be a forward thinker capable instilling your passion for the products and company in your marketing programs, messaging, and collateral.
This position requires a strong knowledge of (Big Data, Data Integration, SaaS and Cloud application integration, BI, ETL, SOA, mobile application enablement, unstructured data transformation), as well as working closely with and supporting sales and partners.
Business Leadership ? Manage solution areas with P&L ownership mentality managing marketing budgets, go to market planning, lead gen, and market growth.
Messaging and Positioning ? differentiate your product, create compelling customer value with messaging that is credible and resonates with target audience
Thought Leadership ? as a storyteller, describe in customer language value propositions and business benefits that resonate from the individual contributer to C-level execs for website material, blogs, and bylines
Product Evangelism ? serve as the spokesperson for our product and evangelize with customers and press, and at conferences and user groups
Competitive Intelligence ? understand competition and industry to build a winning strategy for your products
Customer Advocate ? understands customer needs, pain points, and opportunities
Collateral Creation ? Product and sales presentations, event collateral, whitepapers, webinars, web videos, product demos
Sales Enablement ? support selling efforts with the latest tools, messaging, and assets
Program Management ? juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, deliver results
Selling ? your ideas and strategy (it?s not easy being revolutionary)
Computer Science/Engineering BS + MBA or Consulting
8-12 years product marketing experience for enterprise software company
Strong knowledge of Big Data, Application Integration, Saas, Cloud, ETL, EAI, Data Integration, Business Process Automation, Financial Services, Health Care, Enterprise Search
Startup company marketing highly desired
Confident public speaker
Demonstration of strong performance and growth in prior roles and academics
This is an individual contributor role reporting to the VP of Marketing
