Director, Product Marketing Voltage Security
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Product Marketing Director has responsibility for core messaging, positioning and branding across the core solution and product lines to support and ensure strategic marketing plans for Voltage solutions deliver high impact product and solution awareness through product and solution collateral, content and assets. The role will also will be responsible for graphics design elements and delivery across the corporate, product and solution levels, working with other stakeholders to create and deliver compelling graphics and design elements that support the positioning and marketing content.
The focus of the role is on internal and external content development and delivery, competitive analysis, internal and external product communication and strategic positioning of Voltage?s data-centric security solutions and products.
The role may require customer and sales contact with potentially 10% travel.
Owns and ensures execution of content planning and execution to support marketing, sales and product management requirements, and associated campaign and launch execution.
Creates, manages and updates product collateral, white papers, sales tools, product kits and additional launch materials as appropriate.
Drives market research and intelligence, including competitive analysis and intelligence, and defines market segmentation, buyer personas and external influences.
Works closely with internal and external marketing communications teams, including writers, designers, and web teams to manage and produce marketing deliverables and ensure correct positioning, messaging and branding across all marketing functions.
Contributes to lead generation, install base marketing, channel marketing/enablement, advertising, web marketing, PR, and tradeshow strategies and execution as appropriate.
Provides high level support for sales efforts, including competitor profiles, sales training and tools. Interface with our clients to understand their strategies and to ensure that the product continues to play a key role in its execution.
Establishes, modifies, implements, and monitors systems and procedures to enhance timely and efficient workflow.
At least 7-8 years of experience in product marketing in the enterprise software industry ? security domain expertise a plus.
Strong written, verbal and interpersonal skills along with strong presentation skills.
Excellent presentation skills and the ability to adapt messaging to target audience.
Graphics design background and expertise, and ability to develop and deliver compelling graphical elements to support marketing and sales strategy.
Excellent collaboration skills with a wide variety of internal team members.
Initiative and a ?self-starter? attitude, with sufficient flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Solid customer service skills and the ability to work within a large team environment.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment where organizational skills are essential and have strong problem solving, interpersonal and ownership skills.
The candidate must possess business analysis skills and the ability to translate business planning into product execution.
Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to analyze and communicate technical issues, lead discussions, and influence decisions.
