We are seeking an experienced and energetic Director, Product Marketing with proven business and technical knowledge to drive product related go-to-market strategies, programs and deliverables for Skyfence?s cloud visibility and control offerings. You will be strategic, have an attention to detail and the critical ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into storytelling that resonates. You will be responsible for defining and implementing product positioning and messaging, collateral development, solution briefs, whitepapers, competitive information and other tools. You will need to have the experience and exceptional writing skills to take technical product information and transform it into compelling marketing materials and sales tools for internal and partner use. The position reports to the Vice President, Marketing of Skyfence.
Develop and execute product marketing strategies and plans
Evangelize products to prospects, customers and partners
Research potential solutions areas and specific cloud apps to write/develop appropriate content and campaigns that effectively position Skyfence vs competitors
Play a leadership role in communicating Skyfence product capabilities, features and benefits on public websites, presentations, data sheets, and other marketing and technical collateral
Manage sales enablement ? communicate the value proposition of Skyfence products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process
Execute product and launch campaigns for Skyfence solutions
Refine and create positioning/messaging for new and existing products
Research and develop competitive information and tools
BA/BS required, MBA a plus
7-10 years high-tech product-marketing experience; preferably in enterprise security software or cloud security
Extensive experience with enterprise focused marketing and selling initiatives to IT buyers
Ability to think strategically and from a customer viewpoint
Developed leadership, execution and interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation, writing and speaking skills
Collaborative ? can work with a small team to make big things happen, but also work independently and communicate progress
Ability to interact effectively with senior management, internal to the company and with external groups to represent Skyfence
Strategic and execution oriented; able to develop the strategy and drive the implementation
Highly motivated self-starter
Start-up experience and/or be comfortable with the rigors of a start-up environment
