Director, Product Offering SunRun

As Director, Product Offering you will manage Sunrun?s innovative Solar Power Service offering that is bringing simple, affordable solar power to customers across the country. You will lead the effort to set product direction, engineer service features, and deliver them to the market. Drive the product vision, strategy and roadmap for Sunrun?s Solar Power Service.
Develop and manage the service offering. Identify, prioritize and implement features, including contract terms, billing and payment mechanics, product/pricing configurations and customer system data. Monitor and synthesize customer and partner input to determine product enhancements.
Own the customer experience. Create a shared, company-wide vision for industry-leading customer experience and lead implementation of the cross-functional initiatives that bring it to life.
Interface with Sunrun Sales and Marketing teams to understand market and channel dynamics, communicate product changes, implement rollout plans and collect market intelligence.
Establish expertise in market-level business drivers, such as utility rates, financial and policy issues, local customer preferences, channel partner issues and market opportunity/risk assessment.
Drive analyses of key inputs to Sunrun?s business model and the customer value proposition, including utility rate forecasting, customer credit criteria, and solar production simulation.
Evaluate new market and business opportunities. Develop strategic and cost/benefit analysis of new business initiatives.
Interface directly with senior executives across the company to get exec-level input and support for product strategies and plans.
Lead the growing Product Offering team and participate on company-wide leadership teams.
Minimum of 8 years of product, strategic, or analytical business experience.
At least 5 years of product management experience.
Demonstrated success as a product leader for a complex consumer service offering. Experience in a directly applicable field a plus, such as a consumer service, financial services or energy.
Ability to work cross-functionally, manage conflicting priorities and drive results with creative solutions.
Bachelors degree in an analytically rigorous program such as engineering or finance. Graduate degree in business or engineering strongly preferred.
