Director of Product Planning and Execution (PPE)LegalZoom?s product management group is a pulse point of our organization as we move nimbly to expand on existing markets and capture new ones with products and innovations that truly delight both current and future customers.
Within the Product Management group, we are seeking a highly motivated Director of Product Planning and Execution (PPE). This talented leader will drive the execution of key product initiatives and minimize time to market for critical product-related programs.
Diplomacy, solid communication skills, wise judgment, and killer instincts are important success factors. The successful candidate will embrace working with a variety of cross-functional teams effectively to form a cohesive team focused on successful delivery.
What you?ll do:
Become an in-house expert.
Learn our products, our customers and their needs and markets.
Organize and manage the execution of our product roadmaps and report on status.
Work with cross-functional partners to set timelines and launch dates.
Work with the product team to ensure clear priorities are set for product initiatives. Manage all initiatives via a centralized scorecard.
Develop detailed work plans to execute programs. Manage delivery and work collaboratively to meet all established and agreed-upon timelines and milestones.
Qualifications:
7-10 years of program management experience, preferably in web-based products and services - including working with subscription models.
Successful track record of leading the execution of all phases of product launches - from ideation through in-market support with a consistent track record of on-time delivery.
BA/BS degree required, and MBA a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects and tight timelines.
Ability to perform in a self-managed environment - must be a self-starter.
