The Director of Program Management will plan and manage key company initiatives including cross-functional business projects and technology projects. Additionally, this position will lead process improvement and problem solving efforts and will provide program management support for the senior management team. This is a key role that requires a blend of analytical skills, business acumen, technical knowledge, interpersonal skills and creativity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Serve as the key resource for overseeing company project needs including the planning, execution, and delivery of requirements on time and within budget.
2.Perform lead program management responsibilities for large, complex technology initiatives including the oversight of significant software development projects.
3.Plan and manage cross-functional business initiatives. Coordinate project teams to achieve business objectives.
4.Identify and lead process/business improvement initiatives and problem-solving efforts. Prepare operational and financial analyses to identify improvement solutions and manage implementation of improvements or problem resolutions.
5.Provide program management support for senior management team.
6.Identify resource constraints, resolve conflicts and keep management informed as to progress.
7.Plan and manage the successful integration of acquisitions. Oversee cross-functional integration efforts (financial, operational, IT, legal, human resources, etc.) to a timeline and ensure completion on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
1.Undergraduate degree is required or equivalent work experience. An advanced degree is preferred.
2.7 ? 10 years prior experience managing large scale projects and process improvement initiatives.
3.Skilled leader who excels at motivating, influencing, coaching and negotiating with senior executives and with individuals who are not under their direct supervision.
4. Proven success at autonomously managing multiple projects simultaneiously across various business functions.
5.Highly organized, extremely detail-oriented and demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
6.Ability to demonstrate strategic, data-driven thinking combined with efficient implementation skills.
7.Superior analytical thinking and fact-based decision making skills.
8.Experience with Agile methodologies and customer implementations is required. Experience with Rally software a plus.
9.Experience leading cross-funtional project teams responsible for the oversight of mergers and acquisitions is desired.
10.An understanding of financial, data management and IT systems will be a strong positive.
11.Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize, manage against a budget, communicate with internal teams, and show ownership for projects from start to finish.
12.Prior experience in a management consulting firm is desired.
13.Flexibility to travel as needed (30% or more).
