Workday is seeking an experienced leader to join the marketing leadership team and serve as our Sr. Director, Program Management and Marketing Operations. He/she will build and oversee the Program Management Office, defining and maintaining standards for project management within the marketing organization, especially as it relates to product launches and announcements. He/she will also own all processes related to marketing productivity, data quality, marketing automation, and reporting and analytics. Â The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of creating excellent marketing operations that enable predictability, scalability, and efficiency and possess a unique blend of business ownership, marketing and operations acumen, leadership, agility, and communications skills.
The position is based in Pleasanton, CA and will report to the VP, Corporate Marketing.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Lead the Program Management function for campaign launches and announcements, serving as the source of documentation, guidance, and metrics for these programs. Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, ensuring the risks, issues, requirements and solutions are aligned to drive success.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Lead Marketing Operations function, including demand operations, measurement and metrics as well as infrastructure and business process.Â
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Work directly with the Sales Operations leadership team to prioritize and align marketing resources to best support sales pipeline goals.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Partner with Finance to drive annual strategic planning and budgeting process and ensure effective resource allocation. Maintain and manage the annual marketing budget.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Work with the Marketing Leadership Team to develop a standard set of weekly and quarterly metrics to measure the health of the pipeline, and the effectiveness of marketing program investment.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â BA or BS degree required.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 7-10+ years of experience in Program Management and/or Marketing Operations, with an emphasis on BtoB.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong working knowledge and experience working with SFDC and Marketo, or other marketing automation platform.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Previous experience working across Marketing and Sales to define and develop scalable business processes designed to drive revenue.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong leadership skills with demonstrated experience in managing cross-functional teams.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong analytical skills.
â¢Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
