Who We Want:
Oversees east coast ad operations team, as well as delivery for all RTB and programmatic channels, setting campaign priorities and overall direction for this area of business.
Partner with sales to coordinate with agency trading desks, demand side platforms, and BV Media's RTB partners to create private marketplace deals and troubleshoot as necessary.
Closely monitor marketplace trends to surface new opportunities for growth, present findings to internal stakeholders and recommend action.
Act as the point person for relationships with existing publisher partners and strategically onboard new publishers as needed.
Maintain block lists and quickly remove unwanted ads from publisher sites.
Build scalable business processes and technology solutions to enable revenue growth.
Champion technology initiatives with the Engineering Team improve operational systems & tools.
Establish goals & metrics to monitor and improve team performance.
Lead the ad operations team to new levels of quality and efficiency through hiring, mentorship & training.
Monitor placements and campaigns for performance and delivery; develop strategies to increase performance and site monetization.
Investigate and resolve delivery/performance issues.
Produce various analytical and status reports.
Provide ad-related technical support to both internal teams and clients.
Skills and Experience Necessary for the Role:
Desired Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5+ years experience in an Ad Operations position, with 2+ years managing a team and 1+ years managing a programmatic and rtb exchange strategy and technologies.
Proven track record of running a large scale, in terms of volume, ad operations function, start-up experience a plus.
Proven ability to lead cross-team projects, communication & processes.
Excellent leadership, communication and mentorship skills.
Results oriented mindset and a willingness to be hands-on with a high attention to detail.
Familiarity with advertising technologies on the sell-side or buy-side of the online ad landscape including survey, data collection, verification, real-time bidding, behavioral targeting, cookie matching and exchanges.
Outstanding customer service, communication, and proactive problem-solving skills.
Self-starter that thrives in a role that requires independent thinking.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced and challenging working environment.
