You'll manage our US and EMEA PR resources, so you'll need to speak global and you'll be as comfortable and confident talking strategy with our senior team, as you are picking up the phone and pushing an agenda forward.
Job Description:
Partner and collaborate closely with executive staff, strategy, marketing and product teams to align PR strategy with business objectives and corporate strategy.
Define Global PR strategy and own the plan to execute.
Help develop messaging hierarchy for company and products.
Foster relationships with key business, industry and mainstream press, bloggers and influencers; maintain regular contact as well as outreach for specific initiatives.
Oversee company spokespeople, training and messaging.
Provide media training and coaching to teams as needed.
Support all phases of product launch publicity through press releases, media relations, social media, events, collateral, and other PR initiatives that reach enthusiastic and appropriate media (print, online, etc.)
Research, write, and edit all press materials including press releases, supporting material, and presentations.
Respond to daily media & press inquiries in a timely and professional manner; working with appropriate internal teams to craft appropriate responses.
Track and measure PR success.
Report regularly to company and leadership team on press activities, coverage, opportunities, successes and press feedback.
Plan, budget, and review PR initiatives regularly.
Evangelize and elevate success stories through traditional channels such as press/events as well as online channels (blogs, communities) to varied audiences including customers, press, and analysts.
Responsibilities:
5+ years public relations experience, mix of in house and agency would be ideal.
Public relations agency experience and agency management experience required.
Formal qualification in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or comparable.
Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to work well under pressure and able to manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a highly dynamic startup environment.
Professional in representing the Company and able to adjust to various styles of communication and various audiences.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify key metrics, manage to such metrics, assess and report on ROI/results.
Strong social business and social media skills
