Vibrant Media is seeking an innovative, passionate and entrepreneurial Publisher Development Manager
We are looking for someone that can:
- Manage and grow content partnerships with key accounts
- Work with Business Development Managers to help develop new and existing content partnerships
- Implement new publisher relationships
- Create materials for sales presentations
- Report profitability for Tier 1 accounts
- Research prospective and existing client opportunities; field inbound leads where appropriate
- Customize set-up for new clients as well as optimize and support existing accounts to increase revenue
- Manage payments and contracts for web publishers
- Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well both as an individual and within team environment
- Be prepared to be accountable and compensated for your own activities and results
- Be adept at negotiating sound commercial agreements for new & existing accounts
- Interview, hire, and manage the Business Development Account Management team
- Liaise with other teams within the organization including but not limited to: operations, tech, product, and creative departments to ensure publisher needs are met when appropriate for the business.
- Manage and overseeing financial and overall business implications of publisher contracts.
- Possess a strong can-do attitude and work diligently to find & implement solutions when challenges arise.
You'll need these skills to be successful in this role:
- Minimum 3-5 years of online sales / business development /media buying experience (online advertising, search, contextual marketing, web publishing content distribution)
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle projects of sensitive or urgent nature in a professional and timely manner
- Support experience in the online sector (online advertising, search, contextual marketing, web publishing content distribution highly preferred)
- Internet savvy and proficient in office productivity tools, specifically Excel
- Experience conducting research using the Internet
- Show interest in developing a career in online media sales, buying, or online business development
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours (if necessary) to accomplish business objectives
- Bachelor's Degree
