Director, Publisher Marketing and Business Development Grab Media

The Director, Publisher Marketing and Business Development will be responsible for ensuring profitable growth and scalability of the Grab Media publisher network, through creation and management of marketing programs and business development initiatives to drive adoption of Grab Media's content and video publishing services within the web publisher community. This position will launch and manage an entirely new publisher recruitment channel for the company. This brand new position is a key operating and strategic role that will afford the qualified candidate an opportunity to impact the P&L, strategic direction, and growth trajectory of the company.
Responsibilities
--Define and execute inbound marketing channel strategies for each of Grab Media's video distribution products, including outbound marketing materials, product fulfillment, product support, and customer communications.
--Determine and lead appropriate participation in industry events and conferences to create brand awareness of Grab Media within the publisher community.
--Work closely with product and executive teams to write white papers, articles or other media contributing knowledge to the publisher community.
--Conduct market research on competition and the industry, including business models, content, marketing strategies, and product strategies.
--Collaborate with publisher development team to refine marketing materials, marketing tactics, and strategies to improve publisher adoption and growth of the network.
--Develop appropriate metrics to analyze and guide the success of our publisher recruitment initiatives.
--Provide regular feedback to the executive team on marketing initiatives and progress.
Skills and Experience
--At least 5 years work experience, including significant marketing experience, preferably for digital product lines or B2B marketing channels. Track record of driving campaign results and new customer adoption.
--Strong problem solving and analytical skills. Experience performing scenario analyses and presentation of recommendations to executives.
--Understanding of fundamental negotiation principles and techniques.
--Understanding of web technologies and business models.
--Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
--Candidate must be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with excellent time-management skills.
--Experience working in corporate and start up environments a plus.
--BS in Marketing or related business discipline strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience. MBA preferred.
