About eHarmony Engineering:
Testing culture at eHarmony:
We at eHarmony, don't hire people to test software. We hire people who write software, to test software. Testers at eHarmony are perfectionists who have an ingrained drive to ensure that every piece of code meets the highest quality standards. We embrace agile development methodologies that allow our test engineers to collaborate with the developers to figure out not just how to test the code but how to break it.
About the role:
At eHarmony, we apply the same standards of hiring to developers and testers. This has allowed us to build a strong team of testers who have the technical ability to write code that breaks the software being tested. We are looking for a leader who could lead this type of team and help them reach their potential. If you answered yes to all or most of the following questions then we are looking for you:
Do you find yourself reviewing implementation and test code whenever you get the chance?
Do you think of ways the software testing industry will evolve to meet the growing mobile and tablet traffic?
Are you passionate about QA, finding bugs and figuring out ways to break the implementation?
Do you have experience building the test infrastructure for a high-volume, consumer facing website?
Are you passionate about Continuous Delivery?
Are you passionate about mentoring very technical test engineers and helping them understand software development best practices?
Do you understand SOA principles and enjoy working with a team that embraces agile not just in process but in thought?
Do you want to work for an Engineering team where your input will be welcomed and even required when we design software?
Do you relish the pressure of having the final say in the quality of all the eHarmony products in all platforms, including mobile?
