Together we have 116 retail imaging centers, 128 mobile units and operate in more than thirty states. Our organization will serve nearly a million patients in 2013, offering a wide range of screening, diagnostic and interventional procedures that complement each community?s needs, in collaboration with radiologists, healthcare providers, hospitals and health systems. We currently have an attractive opportunity for a Director, Regional Operation- Mobile South.
Under administrative direction, the Director, Regional Operations, Mobile-North will manage and direct all operational functions within an assigned geographic area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Hire, train and supervise operation management team within a defined geographic area.
Assist in the development of corporate strategies when requested and implement these strategies through the management team. Meet regularly with managers to review operations in terms of procedure, financial performance, and strategies. Direct and participate in the formulation of action plans to ensure that operations performs to the stated and budgeted goals and objectives.
Assist Vice President of Sales and Sales Team to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, along with maintaining and renewing current customer contracts.
Work with regional marketing team to grow volumes in existing accounts. Ensure sales, operation and marketing teams are working in synergy to achieve corporate goals and strategies.
Oversee schedules for construction and equipment installation for new sites and coordinate personnel activities for start-up of new facilities, assist managers as needed with upgrades and expansions.
Maintain effective working relations with referring physicians, patients, hospital administrators, radiologists and payors associated with fixed wholesale and mobile operations within assigned area.
Investigate and resolve questions and concerns of internal and external customers that are beyond the scope of the management team.
Oversee development of annual budgets and/or pro formas designed to effectively control expenditures and meet revenue and profit goals for assigned area, based on historical data and market trends.
Review and approve expenditures, travel and expense reports, billing information, payroll time-sheets and monthly financial statements of assigned locations to ensure adherence to company guidelines and budgets.
Ensure all records are completed and submitted in a timely and accurate manner. Perform quality assurance audits as needed.
Ensure compliance of OSHA, JCAHO, ACR standards and all other governmental and licensing agency regulations.
Assist in development and ensure compliance of company management programs and other policies and procedures.
Monitor customer satisfaction for all accounts through quality assurance programs and patient satisfaction surveys.
Comply with all applicable laws, rules and regulations including all corporate policies and procedures.
Perform other projects/tasks, as requested by the company.
COMPETENCIES (KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES) REQUIRED:
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel.
High level organizational and operational management skills.
Ability to understand complex equipment routing schedules and develop the most cost effective solutions.
Ability to read, understand and edit complex customer agreements.
Must be able to develop and interpret complex financial reports.
Ability to work independently and to properly prioritize job tasks to accomplish objectives.
Ability to interact professionally with all levels including patients, staff, managers, hospital executives and physicians.

Bachelor of Science degree in business or a related field.
ARRT or other certification in a field related to diagnostic imaging.
Minimum of five (5) years management experience in the field of diagnostic imaging.
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or Heath Administration preferred.
Ability to work extended hours and travel on company business as required.
May require extensive driving to mobile locations.
