CREATETHE GROUP is currently seeking a senior level Sales & New Business Development professional to join our management team and play a pivotal role in the strategic development and growth of the agency. Candidate must have previous digital and business development experience ideally in leading digital creative / marketing agency, retail brand, and/or leading technology platform provider. Digital commerce experience is a significant advantage.
The candidate will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer, working closely with the Management Team and senior Account Managers in all new business proposals and pitches. You will own and drive new business end-to-end, from the generating & handling of leads and inquiries, to managing pitches and on-boarding new clients. The candidate will be primarily responsible for opening and closing new business for our digital creative agency.
Generate potential leads for the Agency and respond to inbound RFP?s.
Own sales and pitch process for prospects from initial contact through closing the deal
Own and evolve the new business process, tools and materials
Coordinate internal pitches for all proposals, lead pitch requirements meetings and conduct follow ups to closely manage process
Research and draft proposals, with input from management, creative, tech, production and account management teams. , aid in the determination of project scope and requirements gathering.
Sales / Business Development Experience in leading digital agency, technology provider or potentially retail brand if relevant commerce and technology experience
Ecommerce experience a big plus in this role
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and take proactive initiatives
Hungry entrepreneur, with great energy, integrity, and a strong work ethic
Detail oriented with superb prioritization and organization skills
Highly proficient in Keynote/PPT, Excel, Word
Excellent business writing, editing and proof-reading skills
Superior and polished presentation, client-facing and communication skills
Passion for digital marketing, technology, commerce and social networking
Ability to work well in a team environment as well as set personal goals and work independently
