The Director, Sales Business Operations will act as primary business partner for the Regional VP of Sales. The successful candidate has very high business acumen, possesses strong analytic skills and has a passion for metrics-based performance assessment / improvement. It is crucial this candidate is a leader and is capable of assessing Sales performance and driving requisite change in advance of being asked. Finally, the successful candidate will be capable of leading process and productivity improvement projects.
Proactively designs, builds and communicates dashboards and other periodic reports to drive performance improvements and increase visibility around key metrics
Proactively analyzes Sales pipeline and provides analysis and recommendations to the organization
Builds positive, open communication relationships with the field reps such that he / she can proactively - and when called upon ? provide counsel on deal structure, margin improvement, negotiations, etc.
Own / drive SFDC hygiene and Customer Master
Partner with sales and training teams to identify potential training needs of sales and support teams
Proactively diagnose the reporting and analytical requirements of the sales organizations, design and deliver reporting to meet their requirements
Oversees key initiative projects focused on improving sales efficiencies and effectiveness in support of driving revenue, improving Sales Rep participation, and increasing deal volume and size
Must be extremely knowledgeable with the End-to-End Sales Cycle, for both Direct Sales Deals as well as Channel Partner Deals
Proactively audits the current organization; identifies, proposes solutions, and leads the approved initiatives to improve sales productivity, sales forecasting, sales analytics and modeling, deal structuring, discount processes, and field automation initiatives while working closely with the Sales leadership team
10+ years experience in Sales Operations
Must have strong analytic skills

Must be able to provide clear, concise periodic communications, targeting the appropriate level of information to the appropriate level of Management ? must be ?always ready? with Key Performance Indicators for the business

Must exhibit a ?do whatever it takes?, positive attitude
Business Systems knowledge required (SFDC, MS Excel, MS ppt)
Must have the ability to plan and independently execute work with low supervision
Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to multiple conflicting priorities, manage changing priorities and respond to unexpected changes
Must possess excellent time management, communications, interpersonal, verbal, listening, problem solving, troubleshooting, decision-making and organizational skills
Bachelor?s degree, preferably in business, technical, IT or equivalent work experience in relevant software products is required, MBA strongly preferred.
