As the Director Sales - Data & Media Solutions , you?ll create strategic relationships with the country?s most innovative consumer marketers in major verticals such as CPG, retail, pharmaceutical, hospitality, finance and more. You?ll be centrally located in our new Manhattan, New York offices and will travel throughout the country to present to prospects and clients presenting our cutting edge solutions. How You?ll Be Successful at DLX
As a DLX Director, Client Solutions, your sales track record is the bottom-line measurement for your success. This role is all about identifying new sales opportunities -- pitching Fortune 500 companies, creating compelling sales presentations, and closing the deal. Our VP of Sales will be looking to you to uncover new relationship opportunities with leading digital media outlets. And you?ll be expected to be a true team player?working hand in hand with Product Development and the entire sales and sales support staff to effectively address questions from our most strategically important clients.

Our management team is looking for someone who will be energized by the dynamics of an entrepreneurial work environment. If you thrive on change, run with new challenges, and you?re interested in what you?ve read so far, you likely have the basic skills/requirements we?re looking for in a qualified candidate. Here?s a summary:
Bachelor?s Degree required. Graduate degree preferred.
5-7 years track record of winning new business/sales in the digital media industry coupled with a rolodex in major verticals such as CPG, Retail, Financial, Pharmaceutical, Hospitality
Experience selling solutions to marketing, loyalty, advertising and media decisionmakers at leading F500 advertisers
Understanding of how to work with agencies, trading desks and ad networks
Knowledge of audience targeting and digital display, mobile and video technology is a bonus
A formal, disciplined sales methodology with great client presentation skills
Strong written, verbal and analytical skills
Ability to travel up to 50%
