Director Sales, Healthcare Market Health Market Science

Manages the sales and partner development and pull through for a defined region within the Healthcare Markets vertical. Reports directly to SVP Healthcare Markets. This includes commercial payers, health systems/hospitals, HIEs (Health Information Exchanges) and consumer healthcare clients.
Responsibilities:
Using a solution sales approach, identify, prospect, qualify, price and demonstrate value, negotiate and close sales opportunities within assigned submarket.
Grow existing client business relationships by becoming a trusted advisor.
Establish and cultivate relationships with channel partners to extend Health Market Science presence and revenue opportunities.
Drive lead generation efforts directly and in conjunction with marketing and business development.
Identify new product/product enhancement opportunities for the organization.
Track and report status to organization and maintain accurate and timely updates in salesforce.com.
Represent Health Market Science at industry events, trade shows, thought leadership activities, etc..
Qualifications:
7-10 yrs prior experience in healthcare informatics and solutions sales
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Strong negotiation and value creation experience.
Excellent communication skills: written and oral.
