Roles and responsibilitiesThis experienced sales leader will be responsible for developing growth strategies and executing against their assigned sales quota for Narrative Science in the New York office. The successful candidate will be an experienced business leader with a successful track record of sales excellence including 12+ years experience working with enterprise technology solutions across a variety of industries.
Skill setThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experiences:
Deep experience selling enterprise analytics data and technology solutions
?Extensive experience selling complex data and technology solutions to a variety of industry verticals including financial services, retail/eCommerce, travel & hospitality, pharma, and consulting services.
?Ability to serve as subject matter expert on key issues to shape our strategy, identify opportunities, and inform our go-to-market approach.
?Experience educating and advising senior executives on new trends in big data analytics and business intelligence solutions.
?Demonstrated ability to drive opportunities for growth and expansion, penetrating existing markets and defining new markets.
Proven track record of consistent sales growth and exceeding targets.
?Strong strategic and tactical sales acumen with the proven ability to develop C-level relationships across a variety of functional roles
?Sales/marketing/consulting experience in a complex selling environment with multiple decision makers, influencers, and gatekeepers.
?Proven track record of exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas.
?Proven ability to strike the balance between closing current opportunities while continuing prospecting activities to maintain a full pipeline.
?Experience collaborating with product management, marketing, and customer deployment teams to execute new bookings and support the development of new product offerings.
