Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities include:
Manage a small team of Account Managers; hire and develop key talent in the Motricity NYC office and remote
Manage the day to day activities of the sales support team; set expectations and hold direct reports accountable to drive results
Develop and implement effective processes and procedures
Work with affiliates, ad networks, and other vendors to maximize campaign results
Work with product marketing and various other internal departments to deliver our message internally and externally
Provide conflict resolution between Account Managers and other departments that may impact a project?s success
Be the point of escalation for campaign management
Keep a pulse on every campaign at every point in its lifecycle
Build strategy design and provide account management for key flagship accounts in Canada and the USA
Be involved/Lead major RFP Responses and other advertising pre-sales opportunities
Handle overflow of work
Looking for someone with either mobile or advertising experience; ideally, the right candidate will have both. You need to be a mentor, someone for the team to look up to and respect.
Required Skills
Must have excellent time management skills, great presentation skills, very articulate, attention driven, and full of bright ideas. We need a manager that isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and work alongside the accounts and sales team, but still manage to run everything.
As such you will need experience managing people and running a department
