Responsible for managing and developing National Wholesale Account sales teams who are originating new business. Establish sales goals and ensure that assigned managers are meeting commitments and sales are maintained at a budgeted standard. Provide oversight for employee performance management and recruitment standards. Ensure steady revenue growth by overseeing the up selling of products and services to our existing customer base.
BS/BA in Business or related field or equivalent in training and experience. 8+ years in professional sales and marketing management position within the Telecommunications industry. Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze market trends and to develop products and services in a timely manner. Demonstrated ability to hire, train and manage sales and management personnel. Strong analytical, time management, problem solving, prioritization and planning skills. Experience developing productivity reporting and providing instructional design and group facilitation. Computer skills including spreadsheets and word processing. Exceptional verbal, written and aural communication skills. Requires constant speaking, hearing and feeling, frequent sitting and keyboarding, and infrequent bending at the waist, twisting of the upper body, kneeling, walking on uneven surfaces, squeezing, operating foot controls, crouching, standing and walking. Requires ability to travel frequently.
