Director/Senior Director Business Development Putney
DescriptionPutney is seeking an experienced business development leader to manage and support all business development aspects of a rapidly growing generic drug company. Primary responsibilities include partner identification, selection and deal execution.
In conjunction with Vice President of Strategic Portfolio Planning, the successful candidate will develop relationships and negotiate deals with companies domestically and overseas. They will assist Vice President of Strategic Portfolio Planning in financial modeling, will work closely with cross-functional teams to solicit input on details of any proposals/deals and will work with Product Development team to smoothly transition products from deal to project initiation.
Ideal candidate will be energetic, persistent, and results-oriented. They will enjoy learning the business and building the company. They should have 8 years of experience in Business Development, or related experience, for generic pharma company, human or animal drug. The Senior Director/Director will report to the Vice President, Strategic Portfolio Planning.
Domestic travel and occasional international travel required.
