MaxPoint is looking for a strategically thinking, motivated Director/Senior Director of Enterprise Business Development to join our team. This role will primarily be responsible for growing CPG client direct relationships driving incremental revenue for MaxPoint. This position is based in our NYC office and reports to the VP of Enterprise Business Development.
The ideal candidate thrives on delivering strategic solutions to client objectives and accountability for client success. They have a proven track record in online and/or traditional media sales as well as success owning and building client direct business. They must be a team player with the ability to partner and gain respect across internal departments. The Director/Senior Director Enterprise Business Development is expected to articulate the MaxPoint value proposition to the manufacturer community, as well as have the vision to tailor MaxPoint capabilities to client needs.

Engage and strategize with senior level executives at client companies to demonstrate how MaxPoint can drive revenue to their business
Develop and cultivate deep relationships with all client levels including senior executives at VP and SVP levels.
Identify and understand trends within client markets and industries
Hit target revenue goals
Proactively provide smart client research and industry specific information
Work closely with MaxPoint analytics, account management, marketing and business development to bring unique and ownable
Preferred Skills and Experiences
Candidates must have a deep understanding of the CPG industry across brand, sales and shopper marketing objectives
Superb verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, including outstanding persuasion and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate up and down an organization
Possess strong client direct relationships
Proven track record of success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships at every client level
Ability to think on feet and tailor discussions to client objectives
Translate ad tech into relevant terms
3+ years of proven success in digital media, media or industry related sales
5+ years? experience owning and growing client direct relationships ? open to agency, brand, ad tech, or media background
Proven success selling complex ad tech solutions
