This is an exciting time to join the Sales Operations team at Imperva! The Director Sales Operations will be responsible for leading and managing all Sales Operations functions globally for Imperva. Reporting to the VP Sales Strategy and Operations, you will help drive strategic business planning and growth initiatives, while ensuring sales execution through sales methodology, processes and productivity tools. You will establish strong cross-functional relationships with the Sales, Finance and IT leaders to initiate and develop programs that will provide sales management with tools to increase sales, raise productivity and increase market share.
Collaborate with sales management on sales coverage planning, including quota planning, compensation plans, territory coverage, role alignment, annual budget and resource planning, sales process and policies
Lead and motivate a small, talented and dedicated Sales Operations team, including recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, training, performance management, and professional development
Manage and consistently enhance all aspects of sales reporting and analysis, including forecast management, pipeline management, performance metrics, dashboards and scorecards by role and function
Take a lead role in providing sales systems to the field, including evaluating, implementing, managing and enabling technologies that improve sales efficiency and effectiveness
Manage customer facing programs to support sales, including Executive Briefing Center, Deal Desk, customer pilots and customer references
BA/BS degree required
3+ years of people management experience at a manager/director level
7+ years of Sales and/or Sales Operations experience
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong business judgment and ability to present analysis in a clear and compelling manner
Proficient knowledge of a broad array of sales technologies (Salesforce.com, analytic tools, etc.)
Strong customer service focus, written and verbal communication skills, and attention to detail and accuracy
Experience working in high-growth, fast-paced and dynamic environments
Demonstrable knowledge of software sales business model
