Director/Senior Director of Ad Network Operations Technorati
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The Director of Ad Network Operations oversees our operations teams, maximizing all advertising revenue for our publishers. This role works closely with the VP, Operations on developing overall strategy and direction for the department. The ideal candidate will understand the ad technology space, thoroughly, and have experience growing, managing and maximizing revenue for a large publisher and advertiser base.
Day to day management and coaching of account management, demand/campaign managers, and other operations team members
Develop process and strategy toward achieving revenue and margin goals
Vet, test and implement strategic technology partners
Report on network inefficiencies and recommend strategies toward correction
Partner with Product team on publisher portal iterations, new ad product and campaign optimization needs.
Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing on overall campaign strategy, troubleshooting, and overcoming challenges
Research and recommend new ad products based upon publisher feedback
Thorough understanding of and experience with online adverting landscape (programmatic buying, data management, direct campaign management etc.) backed by 7-10 plus years related experience.
Minimum of 3 years? experience in a publisher or online advertising operations management role and/or managing advertising campaign managers, account managers and/or trafficking teams. Preferably with a team of 5 or more members.
Hands on experience/comfort with ad technology (DFP, Atlas, etc) both in practice and strategy. Experience with AppNexus a big plus.
In love with data and analytics. Strong Excel skills.
Ability to troubleshoot and improve operations process.
Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills,
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Sense of humor and energized by working in a start-up, fast moving environment.
