The successful candidate will lead the planning, development and execution of the global launch of a novel therapeutic directed at the enhancement of cognition for treatment of Alzheimer?s disease, schizophrenia and other indications. Responsibilities:
Identify and prioritize opportunities for life cycle management
Lead the development of core product positioning, messaging and target segmenting
Direct supporting market research efforts
Integrate functional viewpoints including clinical development, finance, legal, regulatory and market access
Act as principal contact point with a commercialization partner in applicable functional areas
Develop, maintain and enforce launch plans, budgets and timelines including field organization scale-up
Collaborate with clinical development to design trials and select investigator sites that will optimize product submission
Build external relationships with functional thought leaders and medical KOLs
Interact closely with market access leader to integrate HEOR measures into clinical trial design and develop comprehensive pricing strategy
Work closely with business development and finance to develop accurate market forecasts
Requirements:
10 years directly applicable experience in small molecule product strategy development
Recent experience leading the successful launch of a major small molecule
Ideally experience with both primary care, neurology and psychiatry prescribers
Ideally experience in CNS indications, especially Alzheimer?s Disease and schizophrenia
Superior written and verbal communications skills
Superior team management and negotiation skills
Ability to lead a cross-functional team without functional authority
Advanced degree
