Position
As AtHoc is going through a significant growth phase, we are seeking a Director/Senior Manager-level, Marketing Communications expert. He / she will help define product messaging and positioning and develop/execute marketing communication plans across multiple verticals and markets and align these programs with AtHoc?s corporate business strategy and key initiatives. Reporting to the head of marketing, this position will play a key role in the future growth of the business. The successful candidate MUST possess these 3 top qualifications: 1) Hands-on; 2) Ability to translate our message from high level down to the low level and back; 3) Knowledge of our space/product.
Responsibilities
Develop product positioning/messaging strategies across multiple verticals and markets for all outbound marketing activities
Work closely with product management, channel and sales teams to produce highly effective sales tools, including sales presentations, competitive analysis, multimedia product demos, website content, datasheets and whitepapers
Thought leadership and brand awareness campaign development and execution, including public relations, internet marketing, demand generation, user groups, tradeshows, webinars and social media
Partner / Channel marketing and community development
Market research, including analyst relations
Manage public relations and internet marketing
Requirements
8+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Partner/Channel Marketing or Marketing Communications in either B2B or B2B2C (start-up experience preferred).
Deep hands on experience in developing/executing product launch plans with complex messaging strategies for enterprise software, SaaS and/or mobile markets.
Excellent written and oral presentation skills - have directly written and produced best practice whitepapers, datasheets, sales presentations, press releases, etc. (samples will be requested)
Excellent internet and social media marketing with hands-on experience
Experience with effective event management resulting in strong brand and product recognition
Experience in marketing to healthcare, industrial, higher education, military and government markets (strongly preferred)
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multi-task across multiple programs and campaigns and tie marketing results to impact business growth (awareness, market share, pipeline, revenue)
Education
BA / MBA or equivalent experience
Technology background is strongly preferred
