Mindjet, the leading provider of the software and cloud-based applications for visually organizing and managing information and ideas, is seeking a Director of Service Sales to join our growing Customer Success department.
Position Overview:
In becoming a successful SaaS business, Mindjet has put a priority on creating an efficient sales and customer service department. This organization consolidates and leverages the best practices of sales and customer service.
This position is highly cross-functional where success will be measured by higher customer satisfaction, improved trial conversion, and improved customer service processes. The key individual in this role will be highly interactive with the executive and sales leadership teams at Mindjet.
Desired Skills & Experience
Previous demonstrated SaaS services or sales leadership role experiences
10 years of management experience in customer service or sales
5 years of sales experience and technology experience
Experience forecasting and managing a team pipeline
You are the type of person that excels at both client services and complex problem analysis
You balance soft skills like customer interactions with a strong analytical backbone and a passion for finding solutions
You are organized and capable of suggesting campaign improvements
You are passionate about improving and creating repeatable processes that scale and improve over time
Responsibilities:
Manage Sales Team and Quota ? Manage pipeline, accurately forecast deals, train and coach sales reps and assist with complex deal, monitor and report on sales metrics.
Service Programs - Design, implement and update product support and maintenance services and service products that meet business goals and objectives. Ensure programs are competitive by performing competitive analysis
Service Database Data Integrity ? Ensure service databases contain data that is accurate through ongoing audits, reporting, process and systems.
Service Customer Experience ? Enhance the customer experience by working with service systems and process.
Reporting? Establish dashboard reports from key service and sales metrics including service attach rate and revenue trending
Customer Satisfaction Issues ? Manage the daily questions and issues related to customer service that sales and renewal teams have escalated
Additional Skills
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
Highly organized and detail oriented
Strong sales and pipeline management skills
Ability to motivate the team to reach daily goals and monitor productivity
Troubleshooting and enhanced deductive reasoning skills
Strong technical communication and customer service skills
