Description:As the Director of Software Engineering youll be responsible for developing WHIs critical production eCommerce applications and infrastructure. Your mission will be to ensure WHI is always fast, available, scalable and engineered to withstand unparalleled demand. You will be leading a team of some of the best software engineers in the country in fast paced and exciting environment.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge of and experience with enterprise application development, Architecture & delivery.
Use of N-tier architecture and industry standard web-based development platforms is essential.
Extensive (7 to 10+ years experience) hands on design & development experience using PHP, .Net and MS SQL.
Framework experience.
MS SQL 3-5 years experience working with large DB solutions and tools.
10+ years experience designing, building, and supporting complex, e-Business systems (B2C & B2B).
7 -10+ years experience in managing an application development team in a fast-paced, corporate environment.
Experience with user interaction design and development is essential.
3 5 years experience delivering applications using SOA strategies and architectures.
Experience with implementing applications requiring high availability (24x7x365).
Solid understanding and extensive experience with multiple development methodologies and which are best to utilize in various software development scenarios; i.e., Agile, Waterfall et al.
