Director/Sr. Director, Product Marketing Vormetric
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The mission of the Senior Director, Product Marketing is. to enhance and refine the company?s product positioning strategy, thereby ramping revenues and elevating Vormetric?s visibility.
The Senior Director of Product Marketing will play a critical role in the continued evolution of the company and will be a key figure on the marketing and senior leadership team. Implicit in this charter is the need for this leader to be decisive, self directed, pro-active and confident.
The Senior Director, Product Marketing will be responsible for the following areas:
Successfully drive Vormetric products position as THE technology leader in the data security market.
Create a strong technology image and positive ?buzz? around the company?s products.
Lead product go-to-market launches for Vormetric Data Security product line.
Be a key spokesperson and product evangelist for: press, analyst, public speaking.
Drive effective competitive product positioning.
Develop winning competitive product use cases/ business cases for Vormetric Data Security Products.
Support lead generation with effective product/technical content with clear differentiation and competitive advantage.
Track the direct competitors and Equip sales with product-orient battle cards and other sales tools.
Drive and support strategic technical and OEM relationships in line with product and GTM Strategy (IBM, and new OEM opportunities)
Develop and align product architectures in line with sales, engineering, and product management
Develop joint OEM marketing literature, tools, and go-to-market programs that help achieve desired revenue objectives
Drive and Localize Vormetric product marketing in international theatres.
Create and implement customized international product marketing strategies where needed.
Lead by example. Roll up the sleeves and drive and support for all marketing initiatives in a hands-on way.
Continue to integrate marketing into the broader fabric of the company
Promote teamwork across the function and build relationships throughout the organization.
Support internal and external events as needed, such as customer council, sales training, tradeshows, analyst conferences.
The Senior Director of Product Marketing will report directly to Tina Stewart, Vice President, Product and Corporate Marketing.
15+ years of related product marketing experience
Self-starter able to collaborate across functional areas
Expertise and a proven track record successfully marketing IT security applications is required Cloud computing experience is highly desirable
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Proven track record partnering with cross-functional teams and leading successful product launches
Strategic thinker, creative problem solver and strong analytical skills
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
Experience influencing and communicating product offers to customers, prospects, sales people, industry analysts and trade press
BA/BS; MBA preferred
