Director/Sr. Director, Solutions Marketing Vormetric
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED The mission of the Senior Director, Solutions Marketing is to enhance the company?s solutions and market position, thereby ramping revenues and elevating Vormetric?s visibility as a Data Security Leader.
The Senior Director of Solutions Marketing will play a critical role in the continued evolution of the company and will be a key figure on the marketing and senior leadership team. Implicit in this charter is the need for this leader to be decisive, self directed, pro-active and confident.
The Senior Director or Solutions Marketing will be responsible for the following areas:
Drive and articulate the messaging around strategic sales plays including: Cloud Security, Security Intelligence, Big Data Security, Global Compliance, Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs)/Data Breach
Create a strong business and solutions image and positive ?buzz? around the company?s broader solution story.
Evangelize and drive vertical strategies for Finance, Healthcare, Government, and other segments as the business grows.
Be a key spokesperson and solution and business evangelist for: press, analyst, public speaking opportunities
Drive effective competitive solution market positioning (WAF, DAM, Entire Data Security Ecosphere).
Develop winning use cases/ business cases by solution market driver.
Support lead generation with effective solution content with clear differentiation and competitive advantage.
Track the market and alternative competitive solutions, and equip sales with solutions-orient sales tools.
Drive and support strategic relationships in line with sales plays and channel strategy (Cloud Partners, Big Data Partners, Storage Partners, Etc.)
Work closely with sales, engineering, and solutions management to identify compelling solution reference architectures.
Develop joint solution marketing literature, tools, and go-to-market programs that help achieve desired revenue objectives.
Drive and Localize Vormetric solutions marketing in international theatres.
Create and implement customized international marketing strategies where needed.
Press / Analyst Relations:
Manage and quantitatively measure the effectiveness of global press and analyst relations.
Gain mind share with the key influencers including industry analysts, technical and business press
Develop and drive a best-in-class analyst relations program with Tier 1 and Tier 2 players.
Continuously refine solution positioning and messaging and elicit analyst direction and support.
Drive executive platforms and strategies by leader and talent
Press and Analyst Spokesperson
Lead by example. Roll up the sleeves and drive and support for all marketing initiatives in a hands-on way.
Continue to integrate marketing into the broader fabric of the company.
Promote teamwork across the function and build relationships throughout the organization.
Support internal and external events as needed, such as customer council, sales training, tradeshows, analyst conferences.
15+ years combined related product and solutions marketing experience
Self-starter able to collaborate across functional areas
Expertise and a proven track record successfully marketing IT security applications is a highly desired; Cloud computing experience is highly desirable
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Proven track record partnering with cross-functional teams and leading successful solutions launches
Strategic thinker, creative problem solver and strong analytical skills
Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
Experience influencing and communicating solutions offers to customers, prospects, sales people, industry analysts and trade press
