As Director Strategic Initiatives, you will be responsible for managing the successful design, execution and analysis of major digital initiatives. You will also provide a critical link between the most technical areas of the Datalogix organization and our digital media partners and their support teams. These strategic partners rely on Datalogix to help them build the right consumer targeting and measurement solutions for their media, thus driving increased media spending from top agencies and Fortune 500 brands. Advanced interpersonal and communications skills, previous exposure to a broad array of organizational disciplines, and deep analytical insight will all be needed to successfully interface daily with external clients, sales, account management, graduate level statisticians, database administrators, operations staff, and product management personnel. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast paced and evolving environment.
Your performance will be measured by the quality of the analytic work, the effectiveness of the communication created to explain analytical conclusions, and resultant internal and external changes produced by the analyses that are delivered.
Primary responsibilities include:
Provide analytic thought leadership across the organization
Coordinate and work with internal DLX Product and Sales Leads to make new DLX solutions align with partner goals
Effectively communicate with Product Management, R&D, and Engineering groups to generalize and scale analytical methods
Manage a team of analysts. Define priorities for team members and manage expectations for delivery of work. Mentor and develop young talent resulting in increased autonomy and output
Improve existing work or author original analysis that advance our ability to interpret results and address previously undiscovered challenges that reduce our ability to deliver outcomes that exceed client expectations
Identify and solve complex questions for our digital and offline marketing products through quantitative means
Creation of effective campaign designs for offline, digital, & cross-channel campaigns
Develop effective QA/QC processes
Communicate analytical findings in an intuitive manner
Provide compelling recommendations that are supported by well conceived, hard hitting, and pragmatic analysis
Establish credibility and rapport with audiences ranging from Analysts & DBAs to Media Planners & Circulation Managers to CMOs & CEOs
Drive adoption and growth of DLX Solutions
Skills & Qualifications

Here?s a summary of the skills you?ll need for this position:
8-10+ years of experience in consumer marketing analytics, preferably for a large retailer, database marketing or web / marketing analytics firm
In-depth knowledge of online advertising processes and techniques, especially those relating to data and audience buying
5+ years managing/developing a team of analysts
2+ years of experience consulting experience. Focus on quantitative projects and relationship management responsibility preferred:
Passion for and mastery of tools needed to deliver powerful data analysis (SAS or R, SQL, etc.) is required
Experience working with large datasets (billions of records) strongly preferred
Exposure to and understanding of various Web Analytics packages (Omniture, Core Metrics, etc.) preferred
Exceptional problem solving skills with unrelenting focus on practical business implications
Solid verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills with executive level presence
Demonstrated ability to self-motivate, work in teams and be flexible within a dynamic environment
Ability to travel 20% (Denver base with travel to San Francisco, NY, Chicago, Cincinnati, London as needed)
MBA or MS in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering with exemplary academic performance
