We are currently seeking a Director, Supply Chain & Logistics
This is a leadership position responsible for planning and implementation of all planning, inventory management and logistics activities of hardware storage products within a fast paced, high-tech environment, including internal captive CTO factory
Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:
Develop and implement supply planning processes
Integrate the business processes and IT systems for Advanced Supply Chain Planning.
Improve the overall Supply Chain Planning process (demand, supply and inventory planning) across a global supply network by developing process tools, implementing best practices and driving accountability.
Manage supply chain operations, including execution of contractual requirements, oversee and manage the Logistics including transportation, customs/trade compliance, and import/export.
Provide strategic leadership in optimizing demand forecasting, supplier management and supply chain
Manage Supply Planning in streamlining demand forecasting, historical trending and optimizing finished goods inventory.
Direct the forecasting of service parts demand, acquisition requirements and repair volumes
Lead S&OP process and drive inventory-delivery trade offs
What-if / scenario planning and decision-making
Key customer impact & mitigation strategies
Ensure customer fill rate and inventory goals are met.
Analyze sales forecasts, history, and inventory to develop supply capacity plans.
Day to Day Materials Management ? manage material supply and demand including demand loading, MRP functionality, and production planning
Identify and resolve supply issues and provide regular updates to senior management.
Maintain cross-functional alignment during new product development and transitions to support customer needs and minimize cost.
Optimize order quantities to drive savings in freight, warehouse, and carrying costs.
Manage ERP system to ensure data accuracy.
Support system improvements to improve overall planning performance and reporting.
Drive supply chain efficiencies in support of continuous improvement initiatives.
Proactively report on out-of-stock and at risk times.
Oversees processes for management of all material distribution, stocking and reverse logistics programs.
Standardize customer return policies and processes throughout the organization
Accountable for the RMA process and procedures to maximize return and service efficiencies, cost control and profit.
Develop new RMA business processes, logistics, and import/export partnerships for each new country DDN enters
RMA SLA performance measurement for current customers/contracts
Oversee the activities relating to the repair and refurbishment of service parts
Qualifications for this role are:
End-to end supply chain operations with good analytical, team building and problem solving skills.
Expertise in business planning, demand supply management, forecasting, process improvement and system implementation.
Demonstrated success in improving fill rates and inventory reduction.
Experience using MRP or other planning optimization tools. Oracle E-Business Suite and Agile PLM is a plus.
Strong leadership skills required.
EMS/ODM/OEM experience is a plus.
Experience implementing global supply chain (full turn-key direct fulfillment)
BA/BS degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Management.
10+ years? experience in a Supply Chain related field
