Job Description:
The Director of MWS Systems Engineering will identify long term architecture trends in RFFEs and prepare technical requirement roadmaps. The Systems Engineering Director should with meet with customers, standards bodies, and outside peers to both understand technology trends and communicate Peregrine?s architecture positions. This role is critical in ensuring Peregrine?s technology and product leadership.
Roles & Responsibilities
Serve as a technical leader in the Company for defining and defending technical market requirements
Define, document, and defend technical market requirements based on original work
Perform or direct system prototyping work to validate technical roadmap
Knowledge, Skill and Competency Requirements
Competency is based on: education, training, skills and experience. In order to perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and competencies:
Strong fundamental knowledge of Mobile Wireless systems, especially in the RFFE
Experience in taking products from concept to high volume production
Ability to use industry-standard system simulation tools such as MATLAB, ADS, etc
The following traits are highly valued:
Experience in working with international teams across multiple time zones
Ability to travel 10-20% of time
Having executed system level, e.g. handset, product design
Education and Experience:
BSEE required, MSEE is preferred
