Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Director of Talent is responsible for implementing employee focused policies & programs and managing all aspects of employee relations and development. Our Director of Talent will have four main areas of responsibility:
People: attract, retain, and grow our people
Culture: maintain and grow a fun and energetic culture that recognizes and rewards performance
Compensation, Employee Welfare & Benefits: end-to-end management to ensure we retain our people and make them feel appreciated
Compliance: ensure the business is complying with governmental and company guidelines
Attracting and retaining exceptional talent is critical to our operations. We only want the best! The Director of Talent will be tasked with managing the recruiting and hiring practices of the company from start to finish, ensuring our culture promotes camaraderie, collaboration, performance and fun, and ensuring our HR policies and practices are best in class across the organization.
Manages our Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition and assists with all interviewing and hiring of employees. Conducts screenings of candidates to ensure they fit within the MatchCraft culture before being sent to the hiring manager.
Creates, manages, and executes all orientation for new employees
Defines, supports, and maintains a fun and energetic work environment for all employees ? including leadership of our ?fun committee?
Provide leadership training to our team leads and conduct employee development programs that assist all employees in achieving their personal goals.
Administers compensation program; monitors our performance evaluation program and revises as necessary
Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment matters
Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Must have a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to participate as a critical team player
Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration
Effective oral and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
A bachelor?s degree and three to five years of Human Resources experience
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification a plus!
