DIRECTOR/VP OF FINANCE Magnetic
THIS JOB HAS EXPIRED Magnetic?s Director/VP of Finance will have the incredible opportunity to build out a robust and scalable financial infrastructure that can support the company?s strong revenue growth and international growth plans. Specifically, this person will be responsible for handling all tax, legal and accounting issues involved with setting up an international subsidiary, for delivering zero-defect financials with relevant insights, and for managing relationships with our lending partners. This role will provide an excellent opportunity to gain expertise in helping a venture capital-backed company scale into its next round of growth.
? Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual financial results in a timely and accurate manner with explanations of variances to budget
? Handle all tax, legal and accounting needs involved with establishing an international subsidiary (this includes working with outsides specialists in these areas)
? Prepare all financial materials for all board meetings and management offsites
? Assess organizational performance against both the budget and short- and long-term strategic plans
? Provide management with data and insights to make key decisions and provide key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and guide strategic decisions
? Improve administrative and operational accounting services such treasury management, payroll, accounts payable, etc.
? Maintain strong relationships with our lenders and related financial partners
? Review all month-end closing activities
? Provide overall support and coordination of the legal, insurance and tax needs of the company
? This person will be expected to travel internationally, approximately 1-2 times per quarter
? At least 10 years of finance experience, including 3+ years of management experience
? Certified CPA is preferred. MBA or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is highly desirable
? Technical and comprehensive knowledge of all corporate finance, treasury, planning, and accounting areas of a business; preparing budgets, financial reporting, tax functions and investor/Board relations
? Experience with establishing and managing international tax, accounting, and legal entities
? Excellent financial modeling skills, with the ability to quickly and accurately analyze financial data, new business scenarios and prepare and present financial reports, statements, plans and projections for the senior management and Board of Directors
? Entrepreneurial team player that can multi-task
? Willing to ?roll-up his/her sleeves?; not dependent upon an army of support staff
