Do you have a passion for data analytics and big data? Ayasdi is looking for an experienced Director/VP of Professional Services, who would manage service teams implementing Ayasdi's flagship IRIS solution. The person will be responsible for ensuring all client projects are staffed, get delivered on time, within budget and with the highest client satisfaction. The individual will manage multiple client implementation projects.
The ideal candidate must have enterprise software delivery background. The candidate must be a seasoned manager with ability to mentor, coach and develop other team members. The candidate must have strong written and verbal communication skills with experience communicating at all levels of client organizations as well as internally across organization (product engineering, product management, sales). The candidate should have experience in establishing and managing client relationships and effectively managing accounts.
The candidate should be willing to travel to client locations within U.S. & occasional international travel. Expected travel will be around 30-40%.
Establish a PS framework that provides consistent and effective policies, processes, systems, metrics, reports, dashboards and data analysis.
Ensure consistent forecasting and delivery of PS revenue.
Analyzes PS program metrics and trends to evaluate success of overall program (Ops reviews). Anticipates potential issues and implements appropriate remedies. Track progress towards overall PS goals.
Build and maintain a framework that ensures initiative governance, prioritization and visibility throughout PS system.
Build a relationship with customer executives and sponsors.
Must demonstrate thought leadership in professional services best practices.
Be a trusted advisor among internal and external constituents (up to C level) based on program management, product and solution knowledge.
Plan and manage the Professional Services organization including headcount requirements, recruitment strategies, and organizational development.
Hire, retain and motivate the best and brightest employees.
Manage customer escalations and red accounts. Work closely with Engineering and Product Management in resolving product related implementation issues.
Help developing tools for efficient implementation of our IRIS solution.
Responsible for meeting revenue and P&L targets.
Optimize communication and ensure effective knowledge transfer and hand-offs to support post implementation.
Define and sell new PS service offerings.
Required skills and background:
Minimum 10+ years management (staff and budget responsibility) experience in Customer and Partner Support or services delivery within a global software solutions company.
10+ years? experience providing software product support to both partners and customers with high volume, in a multi-channel sales model organization.
Demonstrated success in scaling and profitably growing a professional services business focused on predictable implementation.
Track record of successful solution delivery.
Proven track record of hiring high performing Professional Services team.
Excellent trouble shooting and problem solving and risk management skills.
Excellent client relationship management and ability to play a trusted advisor to C level customer executives.
Demonstrated success managing multiple complex projects, juggling competing priorities, and meeting exacting deadlines.
Successful experience managing and scaling a geographically dispersed Support organization for a top tier Technology vendor, driving the execution of processes and programs through the delivery organization.
Bachelors or higher in a relevant technical discipline
Direct or indirect experience in Big Data and/or Data Science
