Job Description
Caring.com is a fast-growing web site that help families care for their elderly loved ones. We're now building a new business to help these people get the assistance they need by creating the best online directory of senior service providers. We're looking for talented and energetic inside sales professionals to reach out to these businesses and offer them "enhanced listings" web pages with photos, links, and better placement in search results.
Directory Membership Advisers will sell online directory listings into Caring Eldercare Directory Network. Clients include assisted living facilities, nursing homes and retirement communities. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Membership Advisers will be responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close and account management/retention within assigned territories/categories. This is primarily "inside sales," no out-of-office appointments, although Membership Advisers may be required to travel occasionally to trade shows nationally.
Responsibilities
Exceed quarterly sales and activity goals, demonstrating excellent consultative selling skills
Contact qualified prospects via inbound/outbound telephone and email solicitation
Actively manage an accurate opportunity pipeline, using Salesforce.com
Perform assigned account management duties, meeting defined retention goals
Maintain and update assigned contact records, logging all activities and events in CRM
Demonstrate relevant product, industry and technical knowledge
Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes
Compensation
45K base salary, plus great commission, bonus and residuals. Year 1 at plan: 60-85K, Year 2: 80-100K+ health/dental/vision coverage, 401k, stock options and a great commission/bonus plan and vacation/PTO.
