Tesla utilizes third party carriers to deliver new vehicles from the factory in Fremont California to service centers and direct to customers across the United States and Canada. The dispatch operation contacts carriers by phone and/or email to set up transportation negotiate rates and hold the carriers accountable to Tesla quality and transit standards.
-Manage communication between Tesla and third party carriers via email and phone.
-Negotiate rates with carriers.
-Plan and track pick-up and deliveries.
-Manage day-to-day operations between carriers and service centers.
-Escalate issues to Managers as necessary.
