Position Description
The Display Advertising Manager is responsible for management of the Display Advertising program, including planning, media buying, implementation and monitoring; will also be responsible for other marketing initiatives as required.
Responsibilities:
Setup display advertising agenda, manage and maintain action plans.
Responsible for media plan for online Display Advertising based on overall marketing strategy and plan
Research, evaluate media opportunities, buy media for display advertising
Manage publishers/media agency on display advertising, and ensure quality, accuracy and timeliness of deliverables
Work with designer/ad agency on display ads creation, and ensure marketing strategy and promotion goal correctly interpreted
Post Display/Text ads through 3rd party ad server, or work with publishers/media agency directly
Monitor display advertising performance, evaluate performance on a regular basis and responsible for monthly performance report
Optimize display advertising performance by utilizing Keyword Targeting, Behavioral Targeting, Retargeting and emerging technologies
Responsible for Mobile banner/text ads, to drive traffic and downloads of mobile apps.
Develop and manage banner advertising budget, responsible for weekly marketing metrics report
Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree, preferably in Marketing or equivalent experience
3-5 Years? experience with online marketing; familiar with display advertising related tools and technologies; some mobile advertising experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with 3rd party ad server like DoubleClick DART for Advertisers and Google Adwords
Proficient with Web Analytics tools like CoreMetrics, Omniture and Google Analytics
Strong analytic skills and ability to relate results to business objectives; experience in analyzing complex data, market research and formulating actionable plans
Basic understanding of HTML.
Strong negotiation skills that result in measurable savings
Detail orientated; ability to work on multiple projects with short deadlines.
