Job Responsibilities
Receive/Ship loaner inventory and other materials following written procedures and guidelines.
Store inventory in proper location within Distribution Services
Clean and disinfect instruments. Verify the functionality of instruments. Inspect instruments for cosmetic requirements. Verify instruments to be in good working order before and after field use.
Assemble and restock implant banks and instrument sets.
Confirm bank and set contents before and after filed use.
Track lost or misdirected shipments.
Research and resolve lot number discrepancies with accuracy.
Maintain department records using Excel and ERP software.
Assist Accounting in outside audits on as needed basis.
Perform cycle counts and annual audits within the department as directed.
Serve as on-call via pager (cell phone) during off-hours including weekends and holidays, per the department rotation schedule.
Comply with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Report unsafe activities to LDR Management.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Uses personal computer, telephone, fax machine, copying machine, 10-key calculator.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Capable of comfortably lifting 40-60 pounds.
Requirements
High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
Minimum 3 years in shipping and receiving or warehouse/customer service-distribution environment.
International shipping experience preferred.
Knowledge of customer systems, medical device industry, sales operations, customer service, and FDA regulations strongly preferred.
Demonstrated interpersonal skills, particularly proficient telephone etiquette, work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsible for responding to customer needs or requirements within the job parameters.
Ability to apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Communicate clearly in verbal and written form in English.
Intermediate personal computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Perform the basic arithmetic operations (+,-, /, x).
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagrammatic, or schedule form.
Valid Texas Driver's License or equivalent.
Demonstrate skills to handle routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously is a must.
