Job SummaryGilt Groupe is seeking an energetic problem solver with warehouse/distribution experience to fulfill a fast-paced role in Distribution Operations. This position is responsible for ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of new product receiving and customer order fulfillment at our distribution facility. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a break-pack facility with a focus on apparel. Facility utilizes MC9090 handheld scanners and an AS400 WMS, so background with either of these tools is preferred. Fluency and familiarity with the Microsoft Office software suite, as well as Gilt?s own inventory management system, is a plus.
Responsibilities
Perform accurate three-way match of vendor labeling to purchase order/packing list to Gilt labels for initial receipt.
Responsible for resolving receiving discrepancies. Gather necessary data from vendor packing list, compare with received quantities and work with warehouse staff to resolve.
Perform pick and pack of customer orders in line with expectations for timeliness, accuracy, completeness, and quality control.
Ensure inventory on Gilt admin reflects physical counts.
Maintain warehouse tracking and prioritization documents.
Compile and manipulate data from multiple sources to create regular and ad hoc reports that provide visibility of performance levels and inventory accuracy.
Use knowledge of operations to contribute meaningful data and feedback for vendor compliance reporting.
Determine root cause of process issues and provide long term solutions
