Summary of Functions:Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Distribution Center General Manager for our expanding operation in the Kansas City, MO metro area.
Summary of Functions
The chosen candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of operational activities within the facility and ensuring that the quality management system procedures are implemented throughout functional groups; and that productivity, quality and safety requirements are met in accordance with real company needs, based on customer requirements.
Essential Functions
Promote facility-wide improvement, evaluation, and development of operational control in the following areas: financial, quality, reliability, and safety
Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of operations procedures while reporting on the performance and initiating improvements for the operation
Serve as a liaison with external parties on matters relating to procurement of service
Education and/or Experience Requirements
10+ years experience in comprehensive supply chain management, including 7 or more years experience in the management of warehousing within a logistics environment
Bachelor?s degree required
Problem solving experience and techniques as well as the ability to perform statistical analysis
