The focus of this at-will position will be as a sales trainer for sales consultants. The position focuses on analyzing the sales skills and results of individual consultants in coordination with the manager of training and office leadership team. This position will develop, create, deliver and measure the effectiveness of training to increase the effectiveness of sales consultants and improve their sales results. This individual will work with trainers located in other physical offices to coordinate training creation and delivery under the direction of the manager of training.
? Work with the manager of training and the sales managers in your office to develop sales training programs to improve the financial results of the office and develop the sales consultants.
? Provide training for new sales consultants including, but not limited to: technical training, sales skill training, one-on-one coaching sharing feedback and making recommendations to the new hire?s direct supervisor on ongoing development opportunities.
? Provide continued sales training and development for all sales personnel regardless of tenure.
? Provide one-on-one sales coaching for all sales personnel regardless of tenure.
? Maintain confidentiality and professionalism as a liaison to the office leadership team.
? Encourage and inspire sales consultants in coordination with the office leadership team.
? Proactively seek out opportunities to develop sales consultants in coordination with the office leadership team.
? Contribute to the office culture.
? Maintain tracking systems to evaluate the progress of sales training and consultant development including, but not limited to: tracking and meeting monthly sales training minimums for time spend coaching, training, and meeting with sales leaders and manager of training.
? Work with the manager of training to develop the office leadership team.
? Create training curriculum for outside offices as directed by the manager of training.
? Coordinate with trainers located in outside offices to prepare and deliver training sessions.
? Proven communication and coordination with training manager, peers and sales leaders
? Able to plan and execute work with minimal supervision
? Seeks out and implements feedback to improve training efforts.
? Proven course development and curriculum creation skills.
? Proven organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
Experience and Education
? 3+ years of successful sales training experience (preferably recent experience) OR 5+ years successful phone sales experience
? Professional level of training experience with presenting information, classroom instruction, curriculum development, coaching and sales training methods OR successful phone sales experience with demonstrated history of developing sales consultants.
