DMPK Manager Scynexis
The DMPK Manager will be responsible for leading in vitro and in vivo studies to optimize, select, and develop new drug candidates in human and animal health. He/She will primarily design and lead in vitro biological assays and/or bioanalysis (using predominately LC-MSMS), to elucidate DMPK properties of new compounds synthesized during lead optimization programs and to select promising compounds for further study. The successful candidate will lead a portion of the DMPK team and is expected to influence the strategic direction of drug discovery and/or bioanalysis within the team.He/She should have a background in DMPK and/or pharmaceutical discovery or development. They will foster liaison with the medicinal chemistry and biology staff to develop QSAR on assayed compounds, and for the identification of potential drug candidates through the lead optimization process. They should demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum requirements include PhD with 8 years experience or equivalent relevant experience.
