Title: Doc Tools Developer

Are you an experienced XML and XSLT developer? Do you have a background in technical writing or publishing? Do you love troubleshooting problems and finding solutions? Are you able to jump into existing code and make it your own? Then join us in Technical Content Services, where we're looking for a developer to help us maintain and expand our XML authoring, CMS, and publishing tools to support a growing technical writing team.

Responsibilities:
--Work closely with senior developer on developing and supporting XML authoring and CMS tools
--Construct high-quality and maintainable code that fulfills the functional requirements, performs well, and is easy to use
--Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to writers during the authoring and publishing process
--Assist in defining requirements and designing new features
--Create project plan and track progress against that plan
--Write detailed unit test plans and perform extensive testing of the feature

Skills and Experience:
*Strong XML and XSLT development skills
*Experience with web-based programming (e.g., HTML, DOM, CSS, JavaScript)
*Familiarity with Java and PHP
*Effective communication skills when interfacing with a non-technical user base
*An understanding of the technical writing process is helpful
