This position is a paid Internship, with a minimum hourly requirement of 20 hours per week.
The Documentation Intern will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and wordsmithing documents associated with Solera Networks proposals and all associated responses and corporate communications. This position is located in South Jordan, UT.
Under the direction of the VP of World Wide Sales Engineering, and working closely with the Corporate Sales Engineer, assist in writing new content for Proposals, RFP response, and Question and Answer document database
Review the Solera Networks RFP question and answer database Wordsmith/Optimize assist in standardizing communications, (Executive Cover Letters, RFP response content, Questions and Answers for proposals, etc.
Write/Compile/optimize and create standardized corporate responses to RFPs according to verticals
Skills and background
Candidate must have strong writing skills, to include editing, and the ability to optimize the written word for maximum efficiency and impact
Degree in English or Creative Writing or similar educational background
The ability to work and thrive in a fast paced environment
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong computer skills using MS Office
Ability to take initiative
