Position Summary:
The Domain Operations Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of an internal support team that serves our client base of primarily Fortune 100 companies. The Domain Operations Supervisor has the responsibility of not only completing specific tasks as well as ensuring the team is meeting and exceeding expectations. The Domain Operations Supervisor will work closely with members of the Client Service Organization, Engineering, Accounting, and other internal groups and will report to the Domain Operations Manager. This position requires the ability to lead, coach and mentor. This position requires great attention to detail, the ability to effectively communicate by various means and have the aptitude to work and achieve goals with minimal supervision.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
Establish and maintain internal relationships with CSMs and other key roles within the company
Establish and maintain external relationships with third party service providers
Provide superior customer service support
Manage International domain name registrations, transfers and modifications
Timely response to large amounts of email inquiries
Project management
After-hours phone rotation
Monday through Friday schedule which may include occasional after hours support
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
2 ? 3 years of supervisory experience
Ability to organize, direct and perform high level supervisory duties in a manner conducive to high performance and morale
Knowledge of supervisory and management techniques and demonstrated ability to utilize those techniques
Considerable interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others
Professional demeanor
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
High level of attention to detail
Excellent at prioritization and time management skills
Ability and desire to rapidly learn new skills and adapt to changing business environment
Possess exceptional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Must be self-motivated, flexible, and willing to take on new assignments as client and organizational needs change
Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and ability to learn proprietary software
Knowledge of ICANN and the domain industry is a plus
Must pass security clearance (criminal & credit)
Fluency in one or more foreign languages desirable
