Description:Vesta is launching a Commerce Gateway Service that is unmatched in the payment industry and has quickly attracted national brand merchants. To complement this new service, we are looking for a uniquely qualified sales hunter who understands the global digital goods, on-line gaming, virtual currency and travel and ticketing markets. Our ideal candidate currently sells into these markets and has key contacts that will create quick wins for this excellent and easy to sell service.
As an eCommerce/CNP National Sales Executive, reporting the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for selling payment processing products and services by telephone and face-to-face to eCommerce and card-not-present merchants (B2B) throughout the U.S.
Prospect and sign merchant processing agreements between $750k - $150M+ in annual payment volume.
Present and convey merchant payment solutions to the ?C-level? suite, finance, technical, business development and payment executives to successfully close net-new business.
Hunt and qualify new leads and key decision makers along with leveraging extensive existing industry network to obtain and manage new key accounts.
Direct conference and trade show attendance to maximize corporate presence and identify new business opportunities.
Prepare proposal templates for prospecting, research, business and product requirements fit for presentation for all new prospects.
Generate pipelines under each nominated partner with agreed number of leads working through prospecting to conversion.
Consistently meet and exceed revenue targets. Ensure a structured disciplined approach to pipeline management, managing referral partners and maximizing revenue opportunities for new business.
Maintain a high- activity base selling model to prospect, uncover new opportunities and sign merchants.
Ensure all submitted applications are complete, professional and in line with Risk & Compliance procedures.
Maintain a high degree of integrity in all interactions with customers and both internal / external partners that meet company?s core values.
Identify and implement new sales processes to increase overall close rations and maximize profit.
4+ years of payment processing sales experience in e-commerce, card not present or multi-national verticals.
Ideally -strong book of prospects with relevant contacts of decision-makers.
Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Strong sales/business development and negotiation skills
Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of the payment processing space, including products and services, pricing and card association policies.
Must be a pro-active self-starter and able to operate in a team environment.
Ability to flourish in a fast paced and challenging environment.
Demonstrated ability to continually meet and exceed sales goals.
Proven success as an individual performer.
PC literate with Salesforce & Microsoft Office Suite experience in Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook.
Self -disciplined and self- motivated to work in a virtual office environment.
